Toni Newborn is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Naomi Dru Events, an event planning, coordination, and production company built around creating meaningful, well-executed experiences that bring people together. Serving Minnesota and destination clients, Naomi Dru Events specializes in day-of coordination, event consultation, and full event production for weddings, conferences, community gatherings, and mission-driven events.

With more than 15 years of experience as an event strategist, Toni brings a rare combination of executive leadership, cultural fluency, and production excellence to every event she touches. Her approach is defined by a signature blend of strategic planning, refined hospitality, and meticulous attention to detail ensuring that every timeline is purposeful, every detail anticipated, and every moment protected.

Toni has coordinated and produced weddings across Minnesota ranging from intimate celebrations to multi-hundred guest affairs. She also served as lead coordinator for the Community Empowerment Through Black Men Healing Conference for two consecutive years — overseeing multi-day programming, speaker engagement, vendor alignment, logistics management, marketing coordination, and comprehensive run-of-show design.
